The London Art Works Ltd
Please note before applying: we will only consider applicants with production management experience within jewellery manufacturing. Without it, please do not apply.
The London Art Works is a high-end fine jewellery manufacturing workshop in Hatton Garden, producing fine and high jewellery in platinum and gold for some of the most established names in the trade. We work to the highest standards of the craft, combining traditional bench craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technique. That standard is the foundation of the business and is not compromised.
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager from the jewellery trade to take ownership of the planning and management of commissions and stock production, from initial brief through to final completion. This is a senior appointment reporting to Tom Marshall, Managing Director, suited to someone comfortable running a busy and fast-moving production environment while holding that standard consistently across every piece that leaves the workshop.
Working closely with our workshop, design and management teams, you will oversee the day-to-day planning, organisation and coordination of production, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the standard our clients expect.
Applications without jewellery manufacturing experience will not be considered.
The successful candidate will be proactive, accountable and comfortable taking ownership and making decisions. You will have a positive, flexible and solutions-focused approach, respond well under pressure, and have the ingenuity to find the right manufacturing solution, supplier or process when challenges arise.
Above all, you must be capable of maintaining the highest standards consistently. We manufacture at the top end of the market and the quality of our work does not vary with pressure, volume or deadline. You will understand how to balance cost and delivery without ever allowing the standard of the work to slip.
Please note: this is a production management and administrative position. There is no bench work involved. Previous bench experience or technical jewellery knowledge would be beneficial, but the role itself is focused on the planning, management and coordination of production.
The position is full-time and permanent, based on site at our Hatton Garden workshop. All applications are treated in strict confidence. We will only consider applicants with production management experience within jewellery manufacturing.
